Las Piedras Hotel Access Info

Las Piedras is specifically designed with the needs of physically disabled people in mind. To that end the entire hotel and grounds are barrier free and accessible. There is considerable attention to detail throughout. Clothing rails, hooks and switches are lowered, power points are raised. There are extra-wide doors and there is extra clearance under tables and sinks for wheelchairs and clearance under all beds for hoists. The rooms are large with ample turning circles and level or graduated ramp access to all areas.

Bed heights to top of mattresses 48 cm (bed raisers and higher beds available to 58cm).
Profiling beds with adjustable height available for hire.
Toilet heights to top of seat 45 cm (toilet seat raiser available to raise by a further 10 cm).

Las Piedras Hotel is on a hillside, there is one bedroom on the ground floor, the 4 other bedrooms are on the first floor, access is via a long path with graduated ramp.
We have a range of mobility aids for use or hire and can provide personal care / assistance by prior arrangement. In the grounds we have a specially designed heated swimming pool and jacuzzi complete with grab-rails and hoist. We have our own fleet of accessible vehicles and provide airport transfers & excursions.

El Pleamar Apartments Access Info

Both apartments are ground floor with small, easy-gradient ramp entrances. Access all areas: the apartments are barrier free, without any steps in any rooms. There are extra wide doors, adapted wet-room style bathrooms with roll-in showers, wheeled shower chairs, grab rails both sides of toilet and in shower area.

La Casita Access Info

La Casita cottage is situated within the grounds of the hotel. It is only partially accessible. Access is via a short, slightly steep ramped path into the courtyard. From the courtyard there is level access into the ground floor of the building. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are located on the ground floor. The bathroom is wet-room style with a roll-in shower (wheeled showerchair available). One of the bedrooms has a widened door. The first floor is accessed via a steep, narrow internal staircase with a handrail on one side.
