MOBILITY INFO: All areas of the apartments are wheelchair accessible and barrier free with wide doors, corridors and multiple turning circles
Fully adapted wet-room bathrooms, toilet seat raiser available and wheeled shower chair which fits over the WC.
All beds are hoist compatible – Apartment B has a fully profiling electric bed.
Wheelchair accessible transfers and WAV hire available.

THE APARTMENT COMPLEX: The apartments are within the exclusive Laguna Beach Complex, which has beautiful tropical gardens, shops, hairdresser, bars, restaurant, tennis & padel courts and swimming pools. The chair hoist is moved between the pools according to the season. Typically it is available at the outdoor Olympic sized pool in the main summer season, the covered and heated pool for winter and one of the smaller outdoor pools in spring and autumn. Please note the opening and closure of the different pools both for seasonal and maintenance purposes are out of our control and we cannot guarantee the availability of a pool with hoist.

TORROX COSTA: The complex is just off Playa Ferrara/Las Lindes Beach which is a Blue Flag, mile long, dark sandy beach with wheelchair access points and a dedicated accessible area with a path onto the beach and in July and August the local lifeguards have a sea-going wheelchair which you can book to use for free. The wide, long, flat promenade runs the length of the beach and there is an accessible bridge and walkway link to the adjacent beach and area of Las Dunas and El Morche. All along Playa Ferrara there are multiple, reasonably priced accessible beach bars, restaurants and shops. There are many supermarkets and a popular weekly street market all within easy walking and wheeling distance

Torrox Costa is a coastal town, in the Eastern part of Malaga Province and an all-year round resort. It is known for having the best climate in Europe. It is not necessary to have your own vehicle as everything is so accessible. The resort is relaxed and family friendly and popular with both Spanish and International tourists.

GETTING THERE: We offer accessible airport transfers with a meet and greet service using our own Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles and drivers form the airport to the apartments and back at an additional cost. Malaga Airport is approximately a 45 minute drive away.

WAV Hire: Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles can be hired using www.rentacarcaleta.com and also https://www.yellowcar.com/en/wheelchair-accessible-car-rental/.
There is no dedicated parking space, although there are plenty of disabled parking spots around. The complex is pedestrianised, which means it is necessary to wheel/walk 5 – 10 minutes to and from the parking areas and transfer pick-up drop off points.

THE AREA:
The Axarquia is the Eastern part of Malaga and the Costa del Sol, with a much more international and laid back vibe than the better known Western side of the Costa del Sol.
Nerja is a 10-minute drive away
Malaga City and Airport are a 45-minute drive away.
Granada City is a 1hr 15 minute drive away.

Check in is from 15:00 and Check out is before 11:00.
Our normal arrival and departure days are Thursdays and Sundays.
We require a deposit of 20% to secure the booking and the rest is due for payment 8 weeks before the stay. Please note that these payments are non-refundable so we recommend you take out travel insurance at the point of booking.
